  • Most of the teaching staff in our Bachelor of Commerce programme are professionals with acclaimed international prestige in education and in their profession.  This international scope is essential to train business leaders in today’s global market.  Along with our Spanish staff, the majority of our foreign lecturers are from University College Dublin (UCD).  Both final examinations and final year projects are supervised by the Heads of Department of the Quinn School of Business at UCD and by external examiners, who are of renowned prestige and belong to a foreign supervising university.
  • Our classes can be distinguished by their practical focus, particularly those where case studies are applied to international companies and whereby students are able to apply their knowledge.  Throughout the year students are required to carry out small group projects which allow for continuous assessment.  There is also special emphasis on the use of software for specific areas such as accounting, statistics, taxation and legal studies.

  • After finishing fourth year, our students are prepared to communicate in English in today’s labour market.  This skill is acquired progressively over their degree programme.  The fact that courses are taught in English by native-speaking lecturers and that these are professionals in their subject areas cause our programme to be unique in the sense that students are bilingual once they finish their studies.  This gradual learning system is what we define as progressive bilingualism.
  • Students who fulfill the requirements established by the University will be eligible to study a semester at the Quinn School of Business at University College Dublin.  This option is offered in third year where students have acquired vital skills that will guarantee their academic success abroad.
  • On graduating, students are awarded the Bachelor of Commerce degree from the National University of Ireland.  This degree is recognised (homologado) in Spain by the Spanish Ministry of Education.  This recognition gives the holder of our degree the same rights as those acquired by students from any Spanish university, and can serve as access to public government posts (civil servants) or any official Masters programme.
